Reduce the number of recyclables ending up in the general waste stream.
Actions
- Replaced mixed waste desk bins with paper-only recycling bins.
- Installed separation bins for other recyclables in the office kitchens.
Outcomes
In the first three years of operation, the 2500 people working in the building recycled approximately 700 tonnes of office paper, 200 tonnes of cardboard and 110 tonnes of glass and aluminium cans.
