Ranging from raw materials such as framing timber and hardware, to manufactured products such as windows, doors, sinks, garden pots, etc, there is a thriving market for surplus and second-hand building products. Dealers will usually pay for valuable items.

Before disposing of building materials, ask yourself whether you can re-use an item - maybe that old sink would be useful in the garage, or at the shack - perhaps it would be valuable to another member of your family.

Otherwise, there are many avenues for disposal including re-use merchants, charities, or your local Tip-Shop or recycling centre.
